The Sporting Hares Alderbury (padded) Jacket is the latest product for ladies clay shooting.
Created after a demand for a performance-based, functional jacket that featured the Durable Water Repellent (D.W.R.) membrane that's become so popular in our other products. The Alderbury boasts market-leading insulation from copious amounts of synthetic down, giving optimum warmth and breathability to the wearer.
Lined with the luxurious taffeta-silk taken from our flagship lines, the Alderbury is a go-to, go-anywhere jacket.

Fitting Notes:
This jacket is true to size at a 12 and is beautifully cut. I had no problem shooting in it, and it's surprisingly thin for the warmth it retains. This is a super jacket for clay shooting.
Care:
The Alderbury Jacket is compiled of layers of polyester, synthetic down and taffeta-silk. The outer has a D.W.R. membrane applied to it. Ideally, washing should be by hand with warm soapy water. If heavily soiled, then machine wash on a very low spin, low temperature setting. Allow to dry naturally.
DWR Maintenance:
The Alderbury Jacket has a DWR membrane applied at the last stage of manufacturing giving it a water-repellent coat. With wear, this repellency will need to be replenished. This can be done with almost any general polyester waterproofer and should re-applied when necessary following the manufacturer's instructions.
