I bought it for deerstalking in the warm summer months under a lightweight jacket and it is perfect. It is soft and comfortable and the waffle weave interior helps to wick away sweat, keeping me cool when walking around.
I have also worn it for two simulated clay days, one when it was a bit cooler so I wore it under a sweatshirt and shooting vest and then, after a quick wash in the machine and without any need for ironing, I threw it on again for a very hot sim day later the same week. On both days, it was just right and I didn’t even notice I was wearing it.
The stretchy material let me twist and bend to take shots and pick up cartridges with no rubbing or scratching. As I always expect and find with all my Harkila kit, the quality is excellent and it is smart to boot. I highly recommend it.
