Did you know that just 17 minutes a day outdoors can have a positive impact on your health and wellbeing?
Studies suggest that spending at least 120 minutes a week in nature is linked to improved overall health and happiness. While two hours a week might sound like a lot, breaking it down to just 17 minutes a day makes it an easy and achievable goal.
That’s why we’re encouraging all women to embrace nature daily and make outdoor time a key part of their self-care routine.
You already aim to eat your five a day, stay hydrated, follow a skincare routine, and get enough rest—so why not add 17 minutes outside to your day? A simple habit with lasting benefits!

Inspiring ways to get outdoor for 17 minutes a day
Start your week off right – Head outdoors at lunchtime for a walk. Even if you can’t manage a full hour, just 17 minutes of fresh air in your local park or green space will contribute to your weekly wellbeing.
Take your meetings outside – Swap the boardroom for a walk-and-talk in the fresh air. You’ll be amazed at how nature enhances creativity and productivity.
Catch up on the go – Instead of meeting a friend at a café, grab a thermos and enjoy your coffee while walking. It’s a great way to move while socialising.
Listen while you walk – Load up your favourite podcast or audiobook and let it accompany you on a short stroll.
